Viktor is an Olde World Green Dragon who just happens to be hanging around the tallest tower in the castle looking for those spoils...
As in to the Viktor go the spoils...
Hand sculpted entirely of polymer clays, Viktor has a wire & foil armature. His talons and horns are made of Super Flex to prevent breakage. The horns have been given a special touch with gold leaf. The Castle tower began as cardboard & foil. The stonework has been painted with acrylics. A protective coat of gloss varnish has been added to both tower and dragon.
Viktor is detachable from the tower - but he does not stand alone. The castle is permanently attached to a 2"x2" base with a mahogony & polyeurathane finish. Felt has been glued to the bottom of the base to protect shelving & furniture.
Since he is made by hand, there are imperfections in the sculpture - rough spots where the clay didn't blend as well as my imagination would have it - places where the paint reached without my intent - flaws that escaped my notice until after Viktor was "set in stone" if you will, and dragons (like the rest of us) aren't perfect.
